Plural Strategy has appointed Louise Obadia as its first Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately.
Sustained growth
The leadership team has created the Chief Operating Officer role during a period of sustained growth for Plural. Since 2020 this includes hiring new team members, the promotion of two team members to Partner, and recent hiring of Catherine Daly as a Director.
Louise is tasked with driving the operational strategy of Plural as it continues to grow. She will ensure that the right operating model, people, processes, technology and tools are in place to drive efficiency within Plural. She will also continue to work alongside the CEO and other Partners to deliver the overall business growth plan.
The Chief Operting Officer role
In her new role, Louise will also assume responsibility for the Business Functions Teams, covering learning and development, knowledge management and business development. Plural’s operational teams have grown considerably since 2020, with new appointments in People and Talent, Finance and Marketing. Louise will lead the continued development and expansion of these teams and the consulting team within Plural.
As Partner and COO, Louise will continue to provide input to projects as a subject matter expert.
I am excited to take on the COO role at Plural. The company has expanded rapidly over the last couple of years and we have an ambitious growth plan to deliver, the success of which will rely upon the level of busines operations being as excellent as the work we deliver to our clients. Having managed a business through a transformative period successfully before, I am looking forward to doing it again here at Plural.

Industry experience
Louise joined Plural in 2019 and was promoted to Partner in 2021. Prior to this, Louise worked at Informa. She has over 25 years’ experience within the global media and events sector including founding and growing Adam Smith Conferences.
